A Giant Grin for Halloween

For Halloween, we designed and printed a giant Verity head for my son. He wore it with a white suit and a hat and carried a cane with a little smiley face on top.

The Jaw

We designed the jaw with a pivot on each side and a curved piece that swings behind the teeth. We made a separate test assembly in Fusion so we could work on the jaw without printing the whole head.

Putting It On

The back opens on hinges so it’s easy to put on. A hardhat harness supports the head, and my son looks out through the yellow grille above the teeth. Two computer fans run off a remote battery pack to keep it cool inside.
